This past week I received what is undoubtedly the single most delicious snack I have ever had in my life. Habanero Corn Nuggets http://www.krema.com/Corn-Nuggets-Habanero-12-oz-Bag/productinfo/CORNHABAN/ and a jar of Hot and Spicy Peanut Butter. I have yet to try the Peanut Butter. These were courtesy of my good friend, Erin, who has the pleasure of living in Ohio where these goodies are made. Let's just take a moment to talk about these corn nuggets. If you like habanero anything, you will for sure enjoy these tasty treats. They are crunchy and spicy. Seriously, what more do you need out of a good snack?! Nothing. I usually go for Mrs. Renfros Hot Habanero Salsa and some blue corn tortilla chips, but these bad boys, these will for sure become a staple in my mouth. I just ordered 5 more bags online... obsessed? You bet I am. I went through half a bag yesterday, albeit, that's all I ate in between my spin on the bike and second run of the day. The only thing that stopped me from eating the entire bag, was gearing it up for the second run in freezing cold weather. When I say freezing, I mean FREEZING, 20 degrees witha wind chill of 11, ahhhh!
On Saturday we went to the QT2 Holiday Bash in Boston, which was fun, nice to put some faces to names. No one was wearing spandex either.. shocking. The food, ahhh, the food at Maggiano's was delic and it was an open bar. I opted for more food than beverage, calamari, chicken parm, chicken marsala, BREAD and repeat.
This week is Christmas week and it happens to be a recovery week! So I can hopefully start and finish all my Christmas shopping. I'm lucky enough where I work, we close for a few days around the Holidays, so after Wednesday, I only have to work two days next week! Can you say relaxation??

December
The last month of the year has officially arrived. Went out for a nice ride on Saturday, which will most likely end up being the last outdoor ride until Spring... On Sunday we went down to M.I.T and did a quick swim, and by quick, I mean a warm up and 100 yards. The 100 yards we got filmed from underwater to get our swim stroke analyzed. It was SO cool to see and extremely eye opening. Lots to work on. Swimming is tough, lots of things to think about while you're doing it. The pool at MIT is GORGEOUS, super clean and crystal clear water! Check it...

Then, we decided since we were in Boston, we would hit up the North End and we went to Pizzeria Regina's -- delic! Then, of course, we had to stop at Mike's Pastry's for some cannoli's.
This weekend we both have a 5K on Saturday which will be nice to finally do a race again. Haven't raced since September, hopefully we can both improve on our times from last year. This will also be a good indicator of our HR Zones, which of course, mine are still SLOWWWWWWWW!
