|
As you can see 2012 was an amazing year with lots of fun adventures! We celebrated that in the off season and the holidays (again, epic proportions). It's now time to put down the beer and cookies and refocus on 2013. We have some great races lined up! Hyannis Half, Great Bay Half (awesome, hilly course), Rev3 Quassy, IM Vineman 70.3, Rev3 OOB, Lobsterman, Rev3 South Carolina and finally, IRONMAN Arizona in November!
Vineman should be an awesome vacation post race as the bike and run are in wine country, and it's less than an hour from our
favorite brewery! Plus San Fran and Alcatraz!
We have a few more
Rev3 races lined up this year, we loved Quassy so much, that we wanted to do it again (who doesn't love over 4000 ft of climbing on the bike and 1000 on the run??), plus, they are adding the Age Group Race Series, which you can read more about on their website.
We will begin 2013 with receiving our Powerbar order, which I was delayed in ordering, for no reason other than laziness. That's arriving today, all is well. No more snoozin' on the alarm for an hour and swimming during the lunch hour, it's time to see 5:30 am again on a daily basis.
Now that we are officially in 2013, make it a good one! We survived the apocalypse and the fiscall cliff was averted. No excuses now.
